It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosalie Caroline Pothier-Burnie (Coldbrook, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 16, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Joseph and Mary Edna Thibodeau (Thibault); her siblings, Daniel and Barbara; and her son-in-law Phillip Hersey.

She is survived by: her family Mom; her husband Jim; her children, Gloria Macdonald (Al), Rob Burns (Tracey), Al Burns (Angie), Lila Dugas (Paul), Patricia MacDonald (Rob), Taryn Melanson (Ricky), Darlene Hersey, Stephen Nesbitt (Lynn) and Sherry Lohnes (Scott); her grandchildren, Michelle, Julie, Jody, Jesse, Amanda (Nathan), Jennifer (Chris), Laura, Rachel, Yvette, Paul Marc, Alisha Ann (Toby), Brandon (Katie), Cory, Mitchell, Becky and Courtney (Sam); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Jahvon, Madison, Skylah, Brooke, Raven, Daxton and Claire; and her siblings, Roy, Joseph, John, Grace and Caroline. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
