He is survived by: his wife Kitty; his sons, Fred (Patty) and Gary (Debby); his stepchildren, Lee (Barb), Catherine (Allen) and Wanda; and his sister Mary (Moires). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Upper Vaughn Baptist Church.
