He was predeceased by: his sister Edna; his sister-in-law Lillian; his brothers, Earl and Bob; and his brother-in-law Nelson Burgess.
He is survived by: his spouse Frances (Hartt); his children, Dwayne (Kathryn), Darlene (Travis), Richard (Brigitte) and Michael (Melissa); his grandchildren, Katie, Steven, Sabrina, Kyle, Ryan, Amanda, Tyler, Noah, Ethan and Ayden; his brother Owen; and his sisters-in-law, Rita, Mary and Heather.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that Memorial donations be made to the Halifax Dialysis Program or SPCA.
