He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Heans and Shirley Heans (Usher). He is survived by: his wife Sandra (Hartlen); his children, Chris (Amy Coleman) and Andrea (Doug Gillis); his grandson Thomas Heans; and his sister Barbara Heans.
