He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Hiltz and Florence Hiltz (Dodge); his son Terry Hiltz; his siblings, Phyllis Sanford, Harry Hiltz and Shirley Hiltz; and his siblings-in-law, Annie Hiltz, Roy Peterson, Carl Sanford and Roy "Buddy" Misner.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie (Misner); his children, Clarence (Elaine), Ross Corner, Downey (Sue), Steven and Sharon Keddy (Michael); his daughter-in-law Stephanie Hiltz; his grandchildren, Nikki Hiltz, Robbie Hiltz (Natasha), Ryan Hiltz (Angela), Tracy Hiltz, Jason Hiltz, Adam Hiltz (Jessica), Denver Hiltz (Meg Antonick), Leanna Hiltz (Corey Bennett), Mitchell Keddy (Joline) and Kody Keddy (Tatiana Connors); his sisters, Dorothy Peterson and Laura Misner; and his sister-in-law Nina Hiltz. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and one great great-granddaughter.
Oran's family would like to thank the VON for his care while living at home, and the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Grand View Manor for his daily care and friendship, especially during the Covid lock-down.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses–Annapolis Valley Branch, Grand View Manor, or East Black Rock Cemetery.
