She was predeceased by: her parents, George and Norma (O'Hara); and her sister Leslie Laprade (Robert). She is survived by: her daughter Hope; her significant other Roy; her children, Dawna Forbes (Ron) of Peterborough, Ontario, Michael of Santa Monica, California of Calgary, Alberta, Steven (Jan) of Calgary, Alberta and Mark (Katharine) of Calgary, Alberta; her stepchildren, Christopher Smith (Alexandra) of St. Catharines and Susan Smith of Courtice, Ontario; her grandchildren, Matthew, Melyssa, Victoria, Jonathan, Hayden, Hannah, Nathan, Lauren, Isabella, Audrey and Iris; her great grandchildren, Liam, Jackson, Madelyn and Sophie; and her siblings, Ronald Allen (Brenda) and Patricia Elson (Robert). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
