She was predeceased by: her parents, Starrett Sanford and Evelyn Sanford (Lutz); her husband Warren C. Richardson; and her siblings, Ralph Sanford and Ruth Chisholm.

She is survived by: her children, John Richardson (Diane) of Alexandria, ON, Michael Richardson (Susan) of Lawrencetown, NS, Barry (Bill Bevens) and Susan Richardson of Dartmouth, NS; her grandchildren, David, Lee, Amanda, Justin, Tyler, Jonathan and Danielle; and her great grandchildren, Zachary and Jacob.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
