She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Haines and Olga Haines (Betts); her brother Lindon Haines; her nephew Derek Haines; and her son-in-law Andrew Moore.

She is survived by: her husband Maurice Whynder; her daughters, Michele Boyd-Moore and Shannon Lloy (Kevin); her siblings, Gary Haines (Laurel) and Dale Tibert; and her grandchildren, Alexander Moore, Brandon Moore, Adrian Lloy (Jenna) and Matthew Lloy (Rebecca). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-grand children.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
