He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Schofield and Lola DeMont; his siblings, Gary DeMont and Ardena; and his close friend Ricky Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Marianne (Crosby); his daughter Megan (Aaron Perry); his siblings, John and Ferne Williams (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Anne DeMont and Gary Balsor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as several great nieces and great nephews.
