He was predeceased by: his parents, George Layton and Mary Layton (Chisholm); and his sister Peggy Keeping. He is survived by: his sister Helen White (Howie); his children, Kim (Kevin Clark), Scott (Sheryle), Nadeen (Jason), Breanne (Andrew) and Steven (Destiney); his grandchildren, Amanda, Justin, Dakota, Brett, Taylor, Bryce, Devin, Phil, Sophie, Amelia, Ace and Cruz; his great grandchild Louis; his niece Marguerite Brown; and his nephews, Dominique White, Ken Keeping and Joe Keeping.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
