He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Harold" and Leona Ruth Wood (Ells); his wife Lily (Bennett); and his siblings, Helen Nord and Frank.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Morton (Ken) of Woodville, Sherry Pineo (Mark) of Berwick, Sheila Skidmore and Maple Ridge; his siblings, Barbara Faber (Gerrit) of Coldbrook, Georgina Taylor of Habitant, Ronald (Sylvia), George (Joan) and Truro; his grandchildren, Ashley Bent (Nathan) of Aylesford, Sarah Coolen (Greg) of Chipman Brook, Jillian Horne (Keith) of Coldbrook, Nissa Pleasant (Derek) of Edmonton, Alberta, Johanna Morton (Leon Dominey) of Maple Ridge, Jamie Skidmore of Maple Ridge and Joel Skidmore of Maple Ridge; and his great grandchildren, Jed Coolen, Lena Bent, Lawrence Bent, Bailey Morton, Lucus Morton-Dominey, Masyn Morton-Dominey and Carter Holmesdale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
