He was predeceased by: his parents, Ackman Ward and Evelyn Ward (Illsley); his son Paul; and his siblings, Manetta Brown, Mabel McCamon, Rose and Avery.
He is survived by: his wife Marion (LeBlanc); his children, Kathy Hawkins (Tony), Robert (Wendy), Sharon Ward and Matthew (Amy); his sister Charlotte Legge (John); his sister-in-law Seretha Willett; and his grandchildren, Jack (Troy Hawkins), Haley (Claire Ward), Mitchell (Laura Baxter) and Rylen Ward. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory may be made to Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses or to a charity of choice.
