He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Henshaw and Mary Henshaw (Brewster); his wife Winnifred "Winnie" (Spencer); his daughter Gloria; his sons-in-law, Fred and Laird; his grandsons, Brian and Kenneth; and his siblings, Irene, Annie, Alma, Ida, Gordon, Joe, Paul, Sheldon, George, Rodney, Richard and Harry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth "Betty" Myles, Greenwich, Katherine "Kathy" Burton, Lockhartville, Sandra "Sandy" Parr (Kenneth) and Cheryl Connors (Dale); his grandchildren, Jennifer Parr, Jason Parr, Shanna Bauchman, Sarah Armstrong and Anthony Connors; his great grandchildren, Seth, Liam, Ella, Marayah, Bodhi, Kaidince, Tori, Connor, Lucas, Brock and Taylor; and his siblings, Warren and Alice. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the VON (Victorian Order of Nurses), Annapolis Branch, Nova Scotia Heart & Stroke Foundation, or charity of one's choice.
