Douglas Frank Umlah Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Frank Umlah (Coldbrook, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 17, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Umlah and Vera Umlah (Mosher); his brothers, Wilson (Carol) and Wayne; and his mother-in-law Bertha.

He is survived by: his wife Harriet; his children, Cindy and Trevor; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Jasmine), Sean, Sarah (Ryan) and Morgan; his great grandchild Ava; his grandchildren, William, Katrina and Alexander; his favorite lap-dog Banjo; and his siblings, Donald (Bonita), Jessie and Julie Ann (Richard). He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke foundation of Canada or a charity of one's choice.
