He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chandler and Florence Chandler (Smale). He is survived by: his children, Jennifer LaFitte (Allan) and Ken (Sarah); his granddaughters, Gracelyn, Amelia, Madeline and Georgia; and his siblings, Judy Duggan, Shirley Deal and John (Yolande). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
