He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Cress and Annie Cress; his wife Ethel (Selig); his daughter Carolyn Cress; and his siblings, Leonard Cress, Sidney Cress, Lottie MacAdoo, Ethel Gyer, Bessie Kilmister, Fannie Cress, Hazel MacDonald, Naomi Wright, Florence Parker, Clara Hersey, Ralph Cress and Richard Cress.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jo Ann MacDonald (Kevin) and Beverly Cress (Henry); his grandchildren, Jillian Galbraith (Allan), Ryan MacDonald (Nicole), Melissa MacDonald (Eric) and Colin MacDonald (Kaylee); and his brother Lionel Cress. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
