He was predeceased by: his spouse Carolyn Marie Martell (Nolan); his parents, Frank Martell and Rita Martell (MacNeil); his parent-in-law Basil Nolan; his brother Nelson Martell; and also Emma Nolan (Toots).

He is survived by: his children, Terry McVicar, Kevin McVicar (Tony), Michael McVicar, Adrian McVicar (Helen) and Anita McVicar (Ian); his grandchildren, Taya (Chad), Kyle (Courtney), Colin and Sean (Holly); his great grandchildren, Anson, Caelin, Layla, Carly, Payton, Georgia and Carson; and his siblings, Estelle Reppa (Stan), Adrian Martell (Joan), Anne Mac Neil (Julie) and Rita Marshall (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the heart and stroke foundation or the lung association would be appreciated.
