Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Valerie Joyce Pitre of Chester, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 75, on February 21, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Wilkins and Alberta Wilkins; her children, Cindy and Christopher Pitre; her siblings, Joan Craft, Raleigh and Douglas Wilkins; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Skeats (Anne Simpson), Sonny Byers, Gilbert, Dennis Pitre and Jimmy Doucette.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond; her children, Raymond Jr. Pitre (Jane) of Chester, NS and Vicky Hobart (Peter) of Grandbay-Westfield, NB; her grandchildren, Jessica Worden (Scott), Cody Hobart (Kyla), Christopher Hobart (Melanie), Alexis Pitre (Daniel) and Chantel Pitre (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Adalyn Worden, Lucas Worden, Haisley Hobart, Elsie Hobart and Harrison Hobart; her siblings, David Wilkins (Margo), Leonard Wilkins (Joan), Stephen Wilkins (Judy), Diane Doucette and Sis Vidito (Eugene); and her siblings-in-law, Susie Wilkins, Jane Byers, Dot Watts (Roy), Colleen Wilkins and John Craft. She is also survived by her family and cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brenan's Paradise Row Funeral Home (111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB E2K3H6). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel (111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB E2K3H6).
