She was loved and cherished by many people including: her former husband Ernest Graves; her daughters, Colleen and Vicki; her husband Dave; her children, Ashley Surette (Garren), Jon (Caitlin) and Brianna; her stepgrandson Michael (Julia); her great grandchildren, Luke, Nora, Charlie and Louis; her sisters, Joan and Wendy; her family Shirley; and also Juhno.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Shoreham Village recreation program to support resident activities in Shirley's memory.
