With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Evans (Chester, Nova Scotia), born in South Porcupine, Ontario, who passed away on March 7, 2020 at the age of 64. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Evans to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Thomas and Florence Evans (Corkum); and his brothers, Rean Evans, Albert "Sonny" Evans and Wayne Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Sharp; his son Steadman; his stepchildren, Katie Iyoupe (Chris), Jake Sharp (Brianna) and Ben Sharp (Katherine); and his stepgrandchildren, Elsie, Able, Annilise, Van, Bronwyn and Gweneth. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Pro Kids Chester, the Alexander Fleming Pattillo Memorial Foundation at the Chester Playhouse or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
