Edmund Gregory Nash Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2024, at the age of 83, Edmund Gregory Nash of Chester, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Jean Stevenson; and his grandson Joseph Hapgood. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his children, Lisa Nash, Denise Hapgood (Jim), Michael Nash (Donna) and Anthony Nash; his siblings, Catherine Edwards (Leo), Carol Webb (Stephen), Vernon (late Charlene), Dennis (Barbara) and Stephen Nash; his grandson John Hapgood (Allie); and his great grandchildren, Jazzlynn and Perry Hapgood. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.

Never shy of a new challenge, Ned took up the ukulele at age 80 when the pandemic put a halt on travel plans.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Ned's memory may be made to the Chester Lighthouse Food Bank, South Shore Health Palliative Care, Plan Canada International or to a charity of your choice.
