He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thompson and Hannah Thompson (Brooks); his grandparents, Jeremiah, Charlotte Thompson (Sparks), John and Clara Brooks (Saunders); his siblings, John Thompson, Donald Thompson, Alston Saunders, Helen Brooks-Downey and Helen Clayton-Johnson; his son Douglas Brown (Poodles); his niece Claudette Colley; his granddaughter Felicia Brown-Colley; and his aunt Gladys Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Evangeline Thompson; his children, Carl Brown, Thorton Thompson (Yolande), Charmaine Thompson, Dartmouth and Nicole Thompson; his sisters, Barbara Clayton (Peter) of East Preston, Eva Brown (Aubrey) of East Preston, Lena Thompson of East Preston, Elsie Crawley of East Preston and Lillian Williams of East Preston; and his foster sisters, Wendy Slawter (John), Hannah Thompson and Theresa Smith (Tony) of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
