Julia Janet Sparks Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julia Janet Sparks of Cherry Brook, Nova Scotia, born in North Preston, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Sparks and Louise Sparks (Downey); her boyfriend Gerald Lapierre; her daughter Stephanie Sparks-Ramsey; and her siblings, Andrew Downey, Alexander Sparks, Avery Sparks, Cleveland Sparks and Ena Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Marvin Sparks (Karen), Richard Sparks (Melanie), Collette LaRose (Joe), Patricia Sparks, Tonya Sparks-Roy (Denis) and Mitchell LaPierre (Pam); her sisters, Annette Steinacker (Lloyd), Glenda Valliere (Michel) and Carolyn Killiam (Lloyd); and her sisters-in-law, Brenda Downey and Melissa Sparks. She is also survived by Mom will be missed dearly by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cherry Brook United Baptist Church (292 Cherry Brook Rd, Cherry Brook, NS B2Z1A6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
