He was predeceased by: his son Howard Ernest Clarke Burbidge; and his sister Phyllis MacLeod. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Mary Ann (David Adshade) of Centreville and Emerson (Corena) of Port Williams; his grandchild Christopher (Chris); his wife Caroline Adshade; his great grandchild Wesley Adshade; his brother-in-law Everett MacLeod of Halifax; and also, Candace Adshade (Candi), Margaret Burbidge (Maggie) and Matthew Burbidge (Matt).
