Scott; his close friend Diane Simmons; his children, Christine Harrington (Lawrence) and Jason Scott (Carleton); the mother of his children Judy Keizer; his stepchildren, Jason Simmons, Arcadia, Jenn Simmons and Greenville; his sister Sandra "Sissy" Murphy (Alton Doucette); his brother-in-law George Murphy; his grandchildren, MacKenzie White (Logan), Chloe, Chelsea and Shelbie Harrington; his stepgranddaughter Kassady Simmons; his great grandchild Denver White; his niece Stephanie Murphy; and his nephews, Jacob and Nicholas Murphy.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
