He was predeceased by: his parent Frederick George; and his brother Freeman (late Pierenna). He is survived by: his parent Leona George (Newell); his wife Marie; his sons, Steve (Valda) of Little Dover and Mike of Little Dover; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Leigh of Lesterdale, Guysborough Leigh of Lesterdale and Amy Leigh of Lesterdale; and his siblings, Gordon (Noreen), Jerry (Heather), Laurena Bay of Enfield, Shirley Bay of Canso, Freda Bay (late Joe Konning), Pam Bay (Tony Bailey) and Glace Bay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
