He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley McNutt and Hattie McNutt (Totten); his wife Dorothy (Burrows); his sons, Larry McNutt (Anita) and David McNutt; and his brothers, Walter McNutt (Connie) and Pete McNutt (Jenny).
He is survived by: his children, Donna Dodge (Dan), Maine, Alvin McNutt (Jill), Redcliffe, Alberta, Bruce McNutt (Margie), Edmonton, Lynda McNutt and Karen Lomond (Sid); his daughter-in-law Anna McNutt; his grandchildren, Michael, Angela, Kathleen, Nicole, Blair, Amanda, Jason, Peter, Robyn, Robert, Devin and Chris; his great grandchildren, Jessica, Riley, Nathan, Haley, Cameron, Indiya, Landon, Mason, Natasha, Ellie, Jake, Kyle, Luke, Bodhi and Bianca; and his close friend Doris Grant.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Harold's family will receive friends from 6-8 p. m., Tuesday, September 15, 2020. (Please use the front doors of the funeral home, wear face masks and practice physical distancing.) Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020.
