It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Garcia Florence Ninette (Canso, Nova Scotia), born in Guysborough, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 25, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph MacDonald and Lillian MacDonald; her brothers, Bernard (Ray), Joseph (Liz) and John Angus; and her siblings-in-law, Bernie Maclean, Blair Sanderson and Phyllis MacDonald.

She is survived by: her close friend Edward Garcia; her children, Tammy Rhynold (Darren), Timmy Garcia (Kim Hendsbee) and Rachelle Garcia; her grandchildren, Tristan, Tyson, Nathan, Courtney and Chloe; her siblings, Clair (Marlaine), Geraldine Sanderson, Barbara MacLean, Anne Murphy (George), Kate Jamieson (Joe) and Brian Fougere; her sister-in-law Theresa; and her friend Dr. Cathy Felderhof.

All COVID-19 restrictions and protocols will be in place for the visitation and for the funeral mass. Face masks of face coverings must be worn for both and social distancing will be in place.
