He is survived by: his parents, Bernard MacAskill and Barb MacAskill (Meagher); his son Patrick MacAskill; and his siblings, Debbie (Michael), Liz (Dean), Steve (Ramona), Kevin (Barb) and Peter (Nicole). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
