It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bentie Bernice Richards (Canso, Nova Scotia), born in Tancook Island, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 8, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Frank Baker; her husband Wilfred Richards Jr.; and her daughter Rosaleigh Wood. She is survived by: her parent Laura Baker (Heislee); her children, Darlene Myatt (Melvin) of Canso and Barry Richards (Mary) of Canso; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Horne and Gerry Carrigan. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
