He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilfred and Bentie Bernice (Baker); his wife Marry Raphael Richards (Hanlon); his children, Lisa Boudreau (Brad), Robert Richards (Heidi) and Jason Richards (Katie); his grandchildren, Gregory (Marsha), Taylor (Meghan), Dalton, Ian (Jennifer), Nathan, Alex and Rebekah; his sister Darlene Myatt (Richards); his sister-in-law Patricia Harnish (Hanlon); his sister Rosaleigh (Hubley); his caregivers, Thelma, Bessie and Sydney; and his granddaughter-in-law Marsha.
