She was predeceased by: her parent Herman Kavanagh; her husband Aaron Markey; her siblings, Bill, Edward, Cecil, Ken, Jim, Margaret, Catherine and Irene; and her niece Juanita Gurney.
She is survived by: her parent Beatrice Kavanagh (Kelly); her nieces and nephews, Irene MacDonald (Finlay), Donna Nowe (Tom), Don MacDonald (Darlene), Kevin MacDonald (Marci) and Jim Kavanagh Jr.; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Allan MacDonald, Connor Kavanagh, Emma MacDonald, Sarah MacDonald and Hope Kavanagh.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Alice to Star of the Sea Parish in Canso.
