We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2018, at the age of 87, Gervaise Warren McKay (Brooklyn, Nova Scotia), born in Newport, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Raymond McKay; his wife Christine Margaret McKay; his daughter-in-law Beth Denise McKay; and his brothers, Rudolph and James.
He is survived by: his parent Kathleen McKay (Demmings); his children, Warren McKay (Aggie) of Tignish, PEI, Raymond McKay, Fort McMurray, Todd McKay (Sheila) of Grand Pré and Jane Corkum (Brian) of Halifax; his grandchildren, Shana-Lynn McKay (Chris Adshade), Tyler McKay, Denise Reynolds (Josh), LeeAnn McKay (Maxime Vincent), Joseph McKay (Meghan Barrett), Alanna McKay, Connor McKay, Nathan McKay and David Corkum; and his brother Hilburne "Tibby". He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Chook may be made to the the Alzheimer's Society or to a charity of one's choice.
