It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Catherine Jack of Brookfield, Nova Scotia, born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 30, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Nicholson (MacRae) and Roderick Nicholson; her sister Christine Buist (Dorothy); and her niece Shirley Jackson (Buist). She is survived by: her children, Heather Jack (Bryan), Kathleen Trainor (Martin), Maureen Jack (Francis), Linda Jack (Jim), Elaine Jack (Daniel) and Roderick Jack (Kristina); her grandchildren, Dorothy, Daniel Johnson (Sarah), Lindsay Jennings (Ryan), Heather Johnson (Aaron), Keelin Jack, Rhiannon Flemming (Peter), Jesse Cox (Jolene), Shaun Trainor, Michael Trainor, Michele O'Brien (Jonah), Jesse Jack, Sydney Jack and Emma Jack; her great grandchildren, Charleen, Tommy, Frankie, Josephine and Quinten; her former husband William Hugh Jack; and also Wrinkles. She is also survived by five daughters, one son, twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
