With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia McKean (Bridgewater, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 17, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Leland Burns; her husband Douglas McKean; and her siblings, Gerald, Lorimer, Herbert, Harold, Wesley, Marjorie Burns, Glenna Baker and Elsie Gilbert.
She is survived by: her parent Grace Burns (Eisner); her children, David McKean (Debbie) of Wentzell Lake, Michael McKean (Darlene) of Wentzell Lake and Patricia Banks (Joe) of Kingston; her siblings, Pearle Tufts of Bridgewater and Donald Burns (Liz) of Liverpool; her grandchildren, Jennifer McKean, Denise Mitchell (Jason), Matthew Banks (Kelly), Andrew McKean (Hannah) and Nichole Garonce (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Tia Demone, Cali Demone, Ewan McKean and Finlay McKean.
Donations may be made in Virginia's memory to Pinehurst Community Cemetery, New West Pine United Church, Pinehurst Community Hall or charity of choice.
