She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Gibbons and Iva Gibbons (Johnson); her husband Eric George Crouse; and her siblings, Helen Fader, Bernard Gibbons, Rose LeBlanc, Claire MacDonald and Robert "Bob" Gibbons.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ingrid (Alan Nowe), Gretchen Peveril (Alan), Lapland, Bridgit Bell (Peter) and Viki Crouse; her grandchildren, Jason Crouse, Kyle Arsenault, Amy Hopkins, Lisa Keddy, Rachel Smith, Jennifer Bell and Parker Bell; and her great grandchildren, Ephraim, Michaela, Linden Keddy and Myles Hopkins. She is also survived by her friends, children, grandchildren and very fortunate great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, South Shore Palliative Care Services or charity of choice.
