Viola Doris Gow Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola Doris Gow in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 16, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Archibald" and Vida Medicraft (Veinot); her siblings, Marcel, Gordon, Hilda and Lynn; and her siblings-in-law, Geri Medicraft, Shirley Gow, Phyllis Gow, Winnie Gow, Jean Fielding (Gow), Andrew Gow, Ken Gow, Frank Gow, Walter Gow, Everett Bagnell and Donald Kelso.
She is survived by: her husband Donald; her children, Donna Burke (Ken), Bill Gow (Margaret Campbell), Jeff Gow, Julie Gow (Kevin Chisholm) and Viola; her grandchildren, Sarah Selig (Andy), Joseph Burke (Vanja Krajina), Nicole Roach (Kevin), Hannah Wilkie, Noah Wilkie, Ben Chisholm, William Chisholm and Abbie Chisholm; her great grandchildren, Charlie, Peter Selig and Elliott Roach; her sister Elva Bagnell; and her sisters-in-law, Rossie Medicraft and Evelyn Gow.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private memorial service will be held at Bridgewater United Church, and a private committal service will be held at Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater, Angela Clifton officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations in Viola's memory can be made to South Shore Hospice Palliative Care Society, Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
