He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cornish and Elva Cornish; his wife Nancy Cornish (Pixie); his brother Kenneth Cornish; and his brother-in-law Fred Cameron.
He is survived by: his children, Reagh Cornish (Nirmira) of Burlington, ON, David Cornish (Janice) of Waverley, NS and Sharon Dunn (Kelly) of Belnan, NS; his stepdaughter Melanie Smith (New Orleans); his siblings, Ellen Cameron, Fairley Phillips (Eric) and Roy (Anna); his grandchildren, Kevin Cornish of Calgary, AB, Stephanie Cornish of Waverley, NS, Justin Dunn (Erin) of Enfield, NS, Candice Stone (Cory) and Fahmida Thawer; his stepgrandson Logan Berry; and his sister-in-law Beverley Cornish. He is also survived by nieces & nephews and great grandchildren.
