He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bird and Josephine Bird (Richard); and his brother Henry. He is survived by: his wife Joy (Bug); his daughters, Natalie (Michael) and Stephanie (Shaun); his grandsons, Alex and Max; his siblings, Rick (Liam) and Lee Peterborough; and his sisters-in-law, Anne Earle of Halifax, Beth Barteaux of Halifax and Janice Wagner Berwick.
