It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Hatt of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, who passed away, on January 1, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend John A Carr and Alberta M Carr (Grey); her husband Bruce; her children, Wayne and Linda; and her siblings, Faye and Jack.

She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Corkum (Kevin) and Carol Hatt Oickle (Richard); her grandchildren, Christopher, Dwayne, Angela, Carrie, Katrina, Timothy and Lee; her great grandchildren, Ty, Tegan, Kinsley, Kyla, Tessa, Kashton, Jacob, Nathaniel, Emmett, Madison, Jaden, Lexi, Greyson, Elliot and Brooklyn; and her granddaughter Lily. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the R. A. Corkum Funeral Home (2719 NS-325, Wileville, NS B4V 5G9).
