She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Roger McKim and Inez McKim; her siblings, Larry McKim, Beryl Woollard, Elizabeth Latham and Shirley Dawn McKim; and her son-in-law Carleton Mansfield.
She is survived by: her husband Harry A. Whitman; her children, Harry (Pam), Oakhill, Kim Whitman-Mansfield, Wanda (Cecil Haughn), Lahave and Darren (Nancy Chisholm); her grandchildren, Megan, Chantel, Briana, Colton and Bradford; her stepgranddaughters, Melissa and Amanda; her sister-in-law Sylvia Goulden; and her pet Muggins. She is also survived by her grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Association of Nova Scotia or a charity of choice.
