It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Louise Wentzell of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hirtle and Frances Hirtle (Llewellyn); her husband John Everett Wentzell; her sister Wanda Lowe; and her sisters-in-law, Debbie Hirtle and Lillian Boyd (Clyde Boyd).

She is survived by: her sons, Andrew Wentzell (Kelly) and Kirk Wentzell (Amanda); her grandchildren, Kristen (Nick), Kaitlyn (Zack), Katie and Brandon; her brother Richard Hirtle (Lapland); and her brother-in-law David Lowe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sharon's memory may be made to S.H.A.I.D Tree Animal Shelter, Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia, and The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
