He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert John Schnare and Barbara Vivian Schnare. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Schnare; his daughters, Samantha Grayney (Kevin) of Dayspring and Laura Wagner (Robert) of Oakhill; his grandsons, Alexander Wagner of Oakhill and Logan Wagner of Oakhill; his sisters, Linda Grennan (Brian) of Sackville and Peggy Chase (Ronald) of Barss Corner; and his daughter Klarrissa Richard.
