He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wade and Elodie "Mary" Wade (Gagnon); his wife Maureen Ann Wade (Feetham); his son Ross; and his siblings, Gail Cary and Frank.

He is survived by: his children, Michelle Wade (Oshawa), Brent, Daniel (Marlene), Bedford and Mark (Janice); and his siblings, Sharon Allan (Keith), June Cleveland, Somerset, Diane Schwehr (Ron), Barrie, Ont, Carroll Coffin and Robert "Bobby" (Winnipeg). He is also survived by many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
