He was predeceased by: his parents, George Arenburg and Ella Arenburg (Wentzell); his wife Phyllis; his siblings, Lawson Arenburg (Hilda), Myrtle Arenburg and Mildred Wentzell (Herman); his nephews, Hector and Lindsay Wentzell; and his niece Janet Wentzell.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Arenburg (Pearl) and Paulette Oickle (Brian); and his grandsons, Todd Arenburg (Anita MacDonald), Alan Arenburg (Patricia Brooks), Kevin Oickle (Jennifer Wales) and Lorne Oickle (Krista Matthews). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; 2 step great- great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the Veterans Unit of Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg or a charity of choice.
