She was predeceased by: her former husband Carmen Douglass Hood; her husband Watkins Collins Carter; and her brothers, Oscar, Oswald, Omer, John, David, Robert and Paul.

She is survived by: her sons, David Collins Carter, Glenmore Carter and Auburndale; and her brothers, Wilbur Frank of Ontario and Vincent Frank of Ontario.
