It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Millicent Sonnichsen (Bridgewater, Nova Scotia), born in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 26, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent James Joudrey; her former husband Henry Crant; her sister Jean Hartlen; and her half-siblings, Mabel and Weldon.

She is survived by: her parent Iva Joudrey (Slauenwhite); her husband James; her sons, Michael Crant (Helen), Tony Crant (Paulette), Les Crant (Quan) and Paul Crant (Barb); her grandchildren, Paula, Amy, Stephen, Rachel, Victor, Jessica, Dustin, Courtney and Dylan; and her great grandchildren, Mikaela, Mitchel, Jevon, Jackson, Joshua and Damon.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mahone Bay United Baptist Church or the S.H.A.I.D.
