He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Robert H Mills and Karen Keirstead Mills; his stepmother Helga Mills; and his former wife Chris. He is survived by: his daughter Kate Mills (Ryan); his stepchildren, James McDermaid of Vancouver, B. C., Julie McDermaid (Doug), Andrew Fletcher (Wanda), Jillian Veinot (Nick) and Centerville; his siblings, Deborah Ballinger Mills (Jim), Stephen (Susan), Upper LaHave, David (Nancy) and Katrina Mills Pecknold; his stepsister Ingrid Harder; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, DaeShawn and Keira. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Mike's wish is for donations to be made to The South Shore Hospice Palliative Care Society.
