He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wallace Sr. and Eva Sarty (Wile); his wife Claribel (Meisner); his children, William (Katrina), Warren (Patricia), Wendell (Darlene), Joan (Blair) and Julia (Derrick); his grandchildren, Adam, Justin, Jacob, Tegan, Billy, Shawna, Jordan and Candace; his stepgrandchild Theresa; his siblings, Gerald, Walter, Wallace Jr. (Myrlene), Sylvia (Ken), Elwood, Dougald, Marjorie, Clara and Ruby; and his grandson Jason. He was also cherished by 17 great grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren.
Memorial donation's in Merrill's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.
