He was predeceased by: his niece Emily; and his grandparents, William Sr., Phoboe Matthews, Beatrice, Cyril, Sr. and Watkins.

He is survived by: his parents, William AB and Christine Matthews AB (Watkins); his wife Theresa; his sons, Krishna and Colten of Zachery, NS; his stepchildren, Randi-Lynn (Matt) and Derek AB (Natasha); his grandchildren, Hayes of Grady, BC, Kale, Halen, Acacia, Kelly and Lyla AB; his siblings, Melanie AB (Cranley) and Michael AB (Lexi); his mother-in-law Johanna AB; and his sisters-in-law, Carla AB, Cheryl AB (Ryan) and Deborah AB (Stephen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
